OUR WORK
Fast Grants for meaningful change
Our mission is rooted in a simple belief: small acts of support can have tremendous impact. The Inkind Foundation provides microgrants, typically $100 to $3,000, to help individuals, families, and local charitable organizations overcome challenges and pursue new opportunities.
We Support Four Key Areas
Education
From classroom materials to continuing education support, we help remove barriers to learning.
Individual Stability
Assistance for those facing unexpected hardship, temporary gaps, or critical life transitions.
The Arts
Support for creators, community programs, cultural projects, and artistic development.
Community Improvement
Initiatives that strengthen neighborhoods, build connection, and improve local resources.

Powered by Community Giving
Our grants are funded through a combination of personal donations, community contributions, and the growing support of Inkind Thrift, our resale store transitioning into nonprofit operations. Revenue from the store, along with donated property resold through thrift channels, helps sustain our mission year-round.

Looking Toward the Future
As more individuals express interest in supporting their community beyond their lifetime, the Foundation is developing an endowment designed for enduring community impact. This allows gifts made today, or planned for the future, to support grants for generations.
Recognition for long-term gifts is completely optional. Many supporters choose to remain anonymous.
